A junior (under 13) will use a 4 Ύ oz ball. After that age (under 14s-senior) a 5 ½ oz ball will be used. Women use a slightly lighter ball which is 5 oz.

Most bats will require some knocking in. the amount needed will depend entirely on the manufacturer. This will require a certain amount of knocking in with a bat mallet or a suitable alternative. If the bat is bare willow it will require the application of linseed oil.
A size 1 ball (mini) can be used by all ages
A size 2 ball (midi) is used by children aged 3-6
A size 3 ball is used by children aged 6-9
A size 4 ball is used by children aged 9-14
A full size 5 ball is used by people aged 14 and above

All mouth guards packages should have instructions attached. The guard should be put into a cup of boiling water for 30 seconds. Then take the mouthguard out of the water and place it in your mouth making sure you bite down hard and are pushing against your teeth. The mouthguard should then not fall off your teeth when you open your mouth.

Netball has 2 different ball sizes. Players under the age of 10 use a size 4 ball. All players in age groups above under 10s including seniors use a size 5 ball.
To measure your head precisely use a tape measure from the ears up to the forehead and around. This will give you a head measurement to ensure you purchase the correct size.
